Swatch and Vogue italia celebrate their birthdays under the banner of new creativity. Thirty years ago, Swatch revolutionized the watch concept, turning it into a new and unexpected channel for creative messages free from restrictions and rules. Likewise, for the past twenty-five years Vogue italia has been the unquestionable representative of visuality as a language, a witness of the aesthetic evolution of society and an advocate of always contemporary proposals. This month Swatch and Vogue italia have launched Facing_Time, a project that is an open invitation to everyone to tell a story and to say something about themselves through a picture or video. Use a new or vintage Swatch and show your attitude, reveal your imagination, express your creativity, and open your world. Send your artwork (picture or video) by October 31, 2013 to email@example.com. All works will be selected by Vogue italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani and by Nick Hayek, CEO Swatch Group, and will be a part of a travelling exhibit starting in 2014. This is an open opportunity: wherever you see the logo, you’ll find Facing_Time. Swatch and Vogue italia: together, always representing modernity.
