For the first time the SWATCH FIVB Beach Volley World Tour made a stop in Australia at Adelaide, Geleng Beach. This was also the first event for the season 2008. The 32 best teams from all over the world came to play at this beautiful venue. The weather has been very chageful. There was a heating wafe of 42°C over ten days to a cold temperature between 15° and 19°C. The heavy weather conditions made it hard to play but our Brazilian wome ProTeam, Ana Paula and Shelda, fought very hard and finally won the bronze medal against Branagh/Youngs, USA. We all wish a successful start for this season.
