Back in 1982, when he was five, Robert rode a BMX for the first time. Just eight years later, he began to lead the BMX scene and remains at the very top to this day. In 1993, Robert won his first world title in the 16 expert class and in 1999, he won the world title again in the elite class. He quit his 9 to 5 job in 1999 and turned professional. In 2001, at the age of 24, with his an unrivalled record of achievements in his backpack, he moved to the USA where he hopes to continue living out his dream job for a long time yet.
