Nadja started skiing at the age of 3, which may not be as wild as it sounds, if you consider that she grew up surrounded by some of the world’s most skiable mountains. But when an intimidatingly athletic little girl starts snowboarding like a fiend before she’s learned to read, she’s one to watch! This spirited Swiss snow-lover got a board from her father at the tender age of 6, and since then has been a zealous convert to the style, speed, and exhilaration of the sport. When she started sports school at the Sportgymnasium in Davos, Switzerland, at 14, Nadja was introduced to riding the halfpipe--and was quickly hooked! Being the only girl in her class toughened her game and put Nadja in tip-top, competitive shape: 2008 saw her snag a first place in the Overall Ranking FIS European Cup Halfpipe, and in the following years she continued to place respectably in halfpipe and slopestyle sessions. Since her 2009 graduation from the Davos Sportgymnasium, Nadja has enjoyed perfecting her boarding and travelling the world for her passion.
A fantastically gymnastic boarder, Nadja adores a good session on the trampoline, and keeps fit in the summer months by skateboarding. She also enjoys learning to play the guitar and spending time with her friends.
At university she is studying to become a teacher.
