The first Swatch watches were launched 30 years ago, in March of 1983. This year, for the very first time, Swatch is present at Baselworld – and in a big way! We’re here to celebrate the invention and incredible story of the impossible watch. There’s so much to show and tell about Swatch that we’ve invented a new planet to explore: Planet Swatch. Like the world we all live in, Planet Swatch changes every day. On Day 1 of Baselworld 2013, Planet Swatch is Planet Innovation. On Day 2 we become Planet Art, and the following days will see us transformed into four more heavenly bodies: Fashion, Sports, Ladies and Colours. As the Planet evolves from day to day, its 11 moons change with it. There’s a stationary satellite, too, called “Revolution 51”.
