Retail Architect (F/M) English - Mandarin

Job Description

In order to reinforce the Retail Development Team at its Headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, Swatch is currently recruiting for a

RETAIL ARCHITECT (F/M)

you are responsible to implement and to realize Swatch stores and point of sales mainly in Asia, with a focus on the Chinese market. You manage all aspects of the store design process, from design inception and construction management until completion of the projects.

Typical activities will include:

• Project layout
• Coordination with clients and our subsidiaries in the countries
• Budget evaluation
• Support of our supply chain team
• Financial monitoring

Time scheduling as well as quality management are basic parts of your daily activity in order to meet our Retail Environment Design guidelines.

In this position you will work closely with all external parties including contractors, consultants and suppliers as well as internal departments here in Switzerland and abroad.

Your Profile

Your strong awareness of the financial aspects of an architectural project as well as your development skills allow you to manage projects independently from A to Z. You are a very good communicator and team player.

Professional Requirement

You have a degree in Architecture/Interior Design and a min. of 5 years’ experience in Retail, liaising between European and Asian markets. You are flexible and motivated with strong project management competencies. You can plan, deal, delegate and organize, you have talent for coordination and you have the eye for details.

You are fluent in English and Mandarin, every additional language is a plus. In addition, you are in possession of a valid Swiss or European work permit.

Key Account Manager (F/M)

In this position, you are in charge of reaching the sales targets on the Swiss market (wholesales, telesales and Airline Business), reporting directly to the Brand Manager Switzerland.

In this position your main responsibilities will be the following:

 Elaboration and revision of the Key Account Management concept and objectives
 Presentation and selling of the new collections to customers
 Monthly analysis of the Sell-in, Sell-out and stock situations
 Supervision of the Sales budget and targets
 Tracking of the Marketing budget and investments
 Daily coordination and support to the KA
 Responsible for the Airline Business
 Management, coordination and supervision of the Regional Sales Manager teams
 Reaching sales targets with the support of appropriate sales and marketing actions
 Management of the distribution network (openings and closings of POS)
 Improvement of the Brand image at Wholesale POS
 Organize and lead the sales meeting (2x/month)
 Lead and supervise the back office team of 4 people
 Scheduling and supervision of distributor mailings
 Organization of sales trainings with the BM and the Marketing department
 Represent the Sales Department at the weekly Swiss Market Management Meeting

Your Profile

After a sales oriented education you have gained 3-4 years’ experience as a sales representative, Key Account Manager or Sales coordinator, ideally in the consumer goods industry. You are good at organizing, network-thinking and are capable of leading several important projects simultaneously. You are Customer oriented and have a talent for negotiation and communication. You are flexible, open and innovative and take responsibility for your work. In addition, you bring good knowledge of the MS Office tools and know how to use SAP.

Professional Requirement

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required in German, French & English. Italian would be a plus.

Job Description

Retail Marketing Project Leader (F/M)

In this function, you are responsible for developing, executing and evaluating the Retail Marketing operations in Switzerland, as well as managing promotions and below the line activities as assigned through budgeted programs.

Main tasks will include:
- Creation of retail promotional materials, flyers and other marketing materials
- Manage assigned Retail Marketing activities as determined by corporate strategic direction in close collaboration with the Marketing Manager and the Retail Manager
- Develop systems to track and analyse data, produce reports and determine effectiveness of sales & Marketing campaigns
- Define concepts & events with the Marketing Manager for new product launches
- Develop and implement promo strategies for new openings and existing stores
- Activate and take care of our customers on a regular basis on store level
In addition, you will be responsible to gain leads on Retail level and integrate them in the CRM in order to improve customer awareness and satisfaction.

Your Profile

As a Project Manager, you are able to clearly articulate project scopes and objectives, meet tight deadlines, and are also responsible for budgeting, organization and monitoring results.
To be successful in this position you must have strong communication skills, be reliable and creative with a strong “can do” attitude. Strong teamplayer, you work effectively in a cross-functional position. You have good PC literacy, especially with MS Office programs. Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required in German, French & English. Italian would be a plus.

In addition to your Bachelor degree (major in Marketing), you ideally possess experience in a Retail environment (lifestyle market).
