Julien Pacaud
Rich life experiences enhance the work of freelance illustrator Julien Pacaud, who is based in Le Mans. After completing his studies in cinematography at the Louis Lumière school in Paris, he worked as a hypnotist, an astrophysician, an international snooker player and an Esperanto teacher. Nowadays, Pacaud's inimitable digital collages - often culled from old, found imagery, then reworked into seamless and slightly surreal scenarios, which he terms 'Perpendicular Dreams' - are in such high demand that they routinely appear in advertising campaigns, upon record sleeves as well as the pages of many international publications. Pacaud regularly exhibits his work and has suc-cessfully participated in group and solo shows in locations such as Denmark, New York, France and Australia.However, his busy working life leaves little time left to explore an unusual personal passion - time travel!
