Artist Residency

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel offers a unique residency program which gives artists from all over the world the opportunity to explore Chinese culture in an exceptional environment.

Collaborative “open studio” events foster exchanges between the artists in residence, the local art community and the general public. The hotel’s studios are occupied by artists from a variety of contemporary art disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography and film-making. Their multidisciplinary work makes this space a lively crossroads of contemporary creativity.

The Swatch Art Peace Hotel

Swatch has been working closely with artists for over 30 years. The Swatch Art Peace Hotel, which was launched in 2011, is an additional example of the brand’s commitment to supporting talent and creation. Swatch loves art and artists. Their freedom and energy reflect a vision of the world which is simultaneously both very personal and universal.

The unique, innovative concept of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel includes 18 studios where artists live and work in a stimulating urban environment.
