About her

At just 20 years old, Tia Blanco has become one of the most talked about amateurs in women’s surfing. She already won an impressive 2nd place at the 2015 ISA World Surfing Junior Games, and back-to-back Gold medals at the ISA World Surfing Games in 2015 and 2016

Also an outspoken vegan athlete and passioned Yogi, Tia has become an ambassador for PETA2 and is frequently featured in health media as a role model and athlete. She can be seen onscreen, making appearances in animal rights documentaries like What the Health and the upcoming James Cameron produced release, The Game Changers. Tia was also a contestant on MTV’s first “Challenge – Pros vs. Champs” where she won several endurance-based competitions beating out top world-class athletes. The cooking buff loves to unwind in the kitchen with family after a stretching and meditation session.
