The second part of the day, immediately following the marriage, was a Swatch Club treasure hunt!
The Swatch Club was once again divided into teams by randomly selecting playing cards and given specific instructions on how to compete to win a one of a kind collector’s item. Once divided, each team was given a booklet and camera to capture the treasures located on historic Fremont Street.
The teams run up and down Fremont St. locating clues, talking to locals to find the hidden treasures and of course snapping photos along the way. Some of their discoveries were: the birthplace of Las Vegas’ first hotel, the Hotel Nevada in 1906 (present day Golden Gate Hotel); the first paved street in Nevada in 1925; the Golden Nugget, which was the first structure designed from the ground up to be a casino; a million dollar cash at the Binion's; a Gold to Go ATM.
During the lunch at the Golden Nugget, the winning team was awarded special limited Swatch watches.
