Growing up on the NSW Central Coast with North Shelly as his home break, Hughie was destined for surfing greatness. Surrounded by his three older brothers and Australian surfing royalty since day one, he first grabbed a board at just two years old and hasn’t slowed down since.
Making waves on the competition circuit
The accolades speak for themselves: 2023 Stab Magazine Junior of the Year, WSL Pro Junior victories, and a breakthrough win at Stab High in Japan. Each victory has been a stepping stone toward his ultimate goal of joining the WSL Championship Tour.
