Featuring a unique design that is rooted in Chinese art and culture, RIDING THE CLOUDS, melds the Fire element associated with fierce passion with the auspicious symbol of the Horse, the Chinese zodiac sign often associated with qualities like resilience, independence, and drive.
The dial of RIDING THE CLOUDS, representing the sun, showcases two spirited steeds, their energy amplified by a raised print, that adds a dynamic sense of movement. Depicted in mid-flight, the two animals are almost identical, except for their color, one is white, while the other is black, evoking the eternal balance of yin and yang.
With wings and manes made of fire, the horses charge forward against a background of smaller flames, symbols of tenacity and determination, and through drifting clouds representing blessings of luck and prosperity. This red-toned background flows onto the strap, inspired by Chinese scroll paintings and the red bracelets tied to power and protection in Chinese mythology.
