15 April 2025

The iconic Swatch Nines Snow 2025 has delivered a spectacular showcase of athletic progression, creativity, and camaraderie, solidifying its reputation as one of the most inspiring events in action sports.

Held in stunning Schilthorn, between 7 and 12 of April, Swatch Nines Snow brought together a powerhouse lineup of more than 50 world-class skiers and snowboarders, among them Swatch Proteam athletes Nico Vuignier, Mia Brookes, Patti Zhou, Kaishu Hirano and Swatch Canada athletes Brooke D’Hondt, Max Moffatt, for a week of non-competitive sessions on one of the most creative and playful custom-built setups constructed to date.

Under perfect weather conditions, with a massive Big Air Jump designed with innovative features like mirrors and precision-engineered rails as their playground and the pristine Swiss Alpine backdrop adding to the spectacle, the world’s best threw down some jaw-dropping tricks, showcasing their unmatched creativity and skill in the snow.

Highlights of the week:

- Øyvind Kirkhus (SNB, NOR) landed a switch backside quad 1620—a world’s first trick in snowboarding

- Luca Harrington (SKI, NZL) stomped a switch triple cork 1980 Esco, only the third time this trick has been landed by a skier

True to its inclusive spirit, Swatch Nines 2025 embraced creativity from action sports athletes of all kinds. Swatch Proteam stars Sam Pilgrim and Erik Fedko brought their MTB magic, while Matthias Dandois lit up the course with his BMX brilliance. Even Hawaiian surf sensation Noah Beschen added to the excitement, testing his skills on the course.
