Who can join Swatch Rebels for Good? 

Anyone over the age of 16 can become a Swatch Rebels for Good member. 

How do I join the Rebels for Good program? 

All you need to do is sign up on Swatch.com.  

Is it free to join Swatch Rebels for Good? 

Yes, becoming a Swatch Rebels for Good member is free and can be done easily on Swatch.com. 

Is Swatch Rebels for Good a charity? 

No, Swatch Rebels for Good is a program designed to inspire change through creativity. 

Membership

Does the Swatch Rebels for Good membership expire? 

No, the membership can only be cancelled if the Swatch Rebels for Good member decides to do so. 

What are the benefits of a Swatch Rebels for Good member?  

Swatch Rebels for Good empowers its members to make a positive impact in a fun and creative way by either using their Swatch Minutes to vote for their favorite projects or volunteering their time to help bring projects to life. Members also enjoy access to project-related events, workshops and talks. All these activities provide opportunities to meet other participants, build a sense of community and create lasting memories. Through the Swatch Rebels for Good platform, members can also earn badges for their achievements and contributions. 

Swatch Minutes

What are Swatch Minutes? 

Swatch Minutes are like points, which Swatch Rebels for Good members can earn and use to vote for the Swatch Rebels for Good projects. 

What can be done with Swatch Minutes? 

Swatch Rebels for Good members can use their Swatch Minutes to vote for their favorite projects, with the corresponding minutes being deducted from their total balance. 

How can Swatch Rebels for Good members earn Swatch Minutes? 

There are several ways to collect Swatch Minutes:

• Purchase Swatch watches or straps in-store or online*.

• Buy Flik-Flak watches or straps in-store or online*.

• Sign up to become a Swatch Rebels for Good member and subscribe to the Swatch Rebels for Good newsletter.

• Refer a friend to the Swatch Rebels for Good program.

• Register for a talk or workshop related to one of the Swatch Rebels for Good projects.

• Participate in an event related to one of the Swatch Rebels for Good projects.

• Volunteer during the implementation phase of a Swatch Rebels for Good project.

Do Swatch Minutes expire? 

No, Swatch Minutes don’t expire but can be used only during a voting phase.  

What is the Swatch Time Bank? 

When a Swatch Rebels for Good member deletes their account, the Swatch Minutes are automatically transferred to the Swatch Time Bank and then allocated towards Swatch Rebels for Good projects.  

Projects

What are Swatch Rebels for Good projects? 

Swatch Rebels for Good projects are bold, community-driven projects related to the worlds of art, sports, and music. These projects are always unconventional and creative, aiming to make a positive impact on the community. Examples include building a skate park, enhancing a public space, or creating a plug-and-play library of musical instruments. 

How can Swatch Rebels for Good members vote for a Swatch Rebels for Good project? 

On the dedicated page of the website, Swatch Rebels for Good members must log in to their profile. Once logged in, they can vote for their favorite project using their Swatch Minutes. The corresponding number of Swatch Minutes will then be deducted from their total balance. 

What is a voting round? 

A voting round is the period during which Swatch Rebel for Good members can vote for their favorite projects. During each round, members can allocate their Swatch Minutes to a project or projects as they please.  

What is a launch event? 

It’s the event where the winning project is unveiled and the collective efforts of members who brought Swatch Rebels for Good projects to life are celebrated.

The project that a Swatch Rebels for Good member voted for has won, what's next? What's their role? 

Once the winning project is announced, Swatch Rebels for Good members can follow the progress as it is implemented. They can also participate in events/workshop related to that project and help bring it to life by volunteering to help out, earning more Swatch Minutes. Once the Swatch Rebels for Good project is complete, all voting members receive an exclusive invitation to witness the unveiling of the project.   

What happens after a Swatch Rebels for Good project receives the most votes/Swatch Minutes? 

The Swatch Rebels for Good project with the most votes, will be implemented within a specified timeframe with regular updates shared with the Swatch Rebels for Good members. 

Can Swatch Rebels for Good members volunteer for a project that they haven’t voted for? 

Yes, they can volunteer or participate in any of the related events.  

Will Swatch cover the cost of travel for those who join talks, workshops or volunteering days? 

No, travel expenses to volunteer or participate in events related to the projects are not covered by Swatch. 

Badges

What are Swatch Rebels for Good badges? 

Swatch Rebels for Good badges are virtual badges that members can unlock with certain actions. 

How can Swatch Rebels for Good members earn badges?

Badges are awarded after Swatch Rebels for Good members complete certain actions:

• Initiator badge: This badge is unlocked after signing up as a Swatch Rebels for Good member.

• Supporter badge: This badge is unlocked after a member casts their first vote.

• Time Giver badge: This badge is unlocked after a member attends their Swatch Rebels for Good first event.

• Rebel for Good badge: This badge is received after a member completes their first volunteer activity and attends their second event. This badge is also displayed on the “wall of fame” located on the website.

• All In badge: This badge is awarded to members who contribute their entire Swatch Minutes to a single project during a voting period, reducing their balance to zero.

• The Rebels Ten badge: This badge is awarded to the first 10 members who earn the Rebel for Good badge within a year.

• Event Legend badge: This badge is awarded to the member with the most event participations in a year.

• Volunteer Hero badge: This badge is awarded to the member with the most volunteer event participations in a year.

• Swatch Minutes Champion badge: This badge is awarded to the member who contributes the highest amount of Swatch Minutes during a voting round.

• Anniversary Bonus badge: This badge is awarded to the member to celebrate their anniversary of joining the Swatch Rebels for Good community.

• Pioneer badge: A special badge awarded exclusively to Swatch Club Gold and Pioneer members.

What is the “Wall of Fame”? 

The "Wall of Fame" is a section of the Swatch Rebels for Good website that highlights and celebrates individuals who have received the "Swatch Rebels for Good" badge. The purpose is to recognize and honor their contributions and inspire others.

Ambassadors

What are the Swatch Rebels for Good Project Ambassadors?  

Each Swatch Rebels for Good project is championed by a Swatch Rebel for Good Project Ambassador. These can be artists, Swatch Proteam athletes, or musicians, who champion a specific the project. 

For Swatch Club Members

Will Swatch Rebels for Good be a replacement for the Swatch Club? 

In a way. While we are closing the chapter on the Swatch Club, we are starting a new chapter with Swatch Rebels for Good.  

What will happen to the existing Swatch Club members? 

Swatch Club members can choose to sign up and become members of the Swatch Rebels for Good program if they wish.  

Will Swatch Club members receive any special benefits or advantages as their club transitions into the Swatch Rebels for Good? 

Swatch Club members will have exclusive early access to sign up and become members of the Swatch Rebels for Good.

They'll also receive additional Swatch Minutes (Starters: 120, Premium: 240, Gold & Pioneer: 360) to begin their journey as Swatch Rebels for Good members. Gold & Pioneer Swatch Club members will receive their own unique badge if they register for Swatch Rebels for Good.
