The next electrifying chapter of the Swatch Nines is about to begin. Swatch Nines kicks off with a series of events spanning snow, bike and surfing, continuing its reputation as one of the most unconventional and progression-driven sporting events in the world. This year, from an exciting debut in Asia to expanded Public Days and the addition of new disciplines, each event introduces its own first, setting the stage for all the action still to come.
Swatch Nines Snow, 6-11 April 2026, Niseko, Japan | Public day: April 11, 2026
Swatch Nines Snow will be making its debut in Asia with a creative course setup in one of Japan’s largest and most diverse ski resorts, Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU. Known for its iconic powder, the resort will house a course designed with direct input from top riders, including Swatch Proteam athletes Kaishu Hirano and Jesper Tjäder. Swatch Nines events are known for having some of the most “rider-friendly” course setups worldwide, and this year’s course will be no different, blending snow with skate to spark bold ideas, new tricks, and next‑level progression. Fans can catch all the action during the Public Day on April 11, 2026.
Swatch Nines Bike, 15 - 20 June 2026, Sölden, Austria | Public days: June 18 & 20, 2026
In the summer, Swatch Nines returns to Sölden, Austria for one of the biggest occasions in the mountain-biking calendar. The 2026 edition will push MTB to new heights on a course shaped with direct input from powerhouse riders, including Swatch Proteam athletes Erik Fedko and Kevin Peraza. This year’s setup will also put a spotlight on BMX, with dedicated features integrated into the course. The action-packed event will be open to fans across two Public Days on June 18 and 20, 2026.
Swatch Surf & Skate, 8- 10 October 2026, Waco, Texas | Public day: October 10, 2026
The third event in the Swatch Nines event series will take place in the water once again at Waco, Texas. Swatch Nines Surf will continue the same progression-first mindset and trailblazing creativity of previous events with a unique course setup built with input from Swatch Proteam athletes Coco Ho, Noah Beschen, Gustavo Ribeiro and Kevin Peraza. The unique course will feature a skateboard setup alongside the surf elements, blurring the lines between land and water. For the first time ever, Swatch Nines Surf will be open to the public during a Public Day on October 10, 2026.
With its first‑ever debut in Asia, exciting new course designs, a stacked athlete roster, the addition of more Public Days, and a renewed commitment to progression and creativity, this year’s Swatch Nines series is set to be one of its most exciting chapters yet.
