Swatch rolls out epic Summer action sports event: “Swatch Nines MTB”

As the title sponsor of Swatch Nines 2023 MTB, Swatch perpetuates its legacy in the world of action sports, uniting top class riders, both men and women across the MTB spectrum, for another action-packed event. The trailblazing progression session will be held from August 14–20, 2023, at a brand-new location: Green Hill Bikepark, Germany’s newest mountain biking destination, in conjunction with the brand-new BYND The Hill Festival.

The event boasts a star-studded roster of Swatch Proteam athletes, including Sam Pilgrim, Finn Iles, Casey Brown and newly signed Erik Fedko. They will be joined by other exceptional Swatch Proteam peers, such as skateboarders Andy Anderson and Lotfi Lamaali, as well as snow sports pros Sam Anthamatten and Xavier De Le Rue, who will be parachuting in for the event. The high-adrenaline event will unfold against the backdrop of the summer buzz, setting the stage for the athletes to let their creativity run free in the innovative custom-built course design, which blends mountain biking and skateboarding together. With design help from MTB athletes Sam Pilgrim, Casey Brown and other top international talent, the pioneering course design brings together the best elements of slopestyle and freestyle mountain biking in innovative park features that push MTB to new levels of creativity and athleticism. The unique park setup, which also features a one-of-a-kind integrated skatebowl promises a true spectacle of skill and creativity.

From August 18 to 20, 2023, Swatch Nines will be open to the public, giving mountain bike fans the opportunity to see their favorite riders in action. The public days coincide with Green Hill Bikepark’s BYND The Hill Festival, a three- day event featuring all kinds of festivities, parties, DJ sets and loads of MTB-related fun. Adding to the electrifying atmosphere, Swatch will be on site at the festival with its signature Swatch Truck.
