Three is the magic number for Swatch Nines in 2024

Swatch is excited to announce its title sponsorship of three of the sports world’s most exciting - and unconventional - events of 2024. With a focus on athletes’ creativity, and offering them freedom, time and space to experiment, Swatch Nines is the action sports series with a difference.

In 2023, Swatch supported Swatch Nines Snow and Swatch Nines MTB as title sponsor. This year, we’ve gone a step further with a brand-new Swatch Nines Surf event that represents a double first. It’s the first Nines surf event and the first Nines event to be held in the United States. It also represents Swatch’s return to surf events, and we can’t wait to get back in the water!

Swatch Nines has always attracted some of the biggest names in sports all keen to take advantage of the unique atmosphere to try new tricks or master the moves that will push boundaries. With no medals, podiums or world ranking points at stake, Swatch Nines is the ultimate playground for athletes in winter sports, MTB and now in surf. As title sponsor, Swatch makes it all possible.

SWATCH NINES SNOW

The original Nines event returns this April for a second edition in the atmospheric Swiss Alps. Here beneath the towering facade of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, Swatch Nines will refresh an iconic setup last seen in 2016 that will guarantee jaw-dropping action and sky- scraping airtime with 50 ski and snowboard athletes set to take part.

SWATCH NINES MTB

In September, the mountain bike edition heads to the exciting new location of Sölden in the Austrian Alps. The innovative course design, combined with a diverse international crew of riders promises to continue to drive progression in the sport and attract new fans and inspire a new generation of riders.

SWATCH NINES SURF

After conquering the snow and the bike park, surf was the next logical step and Swatch Nines heads to Waco Surf in Texas to shake up the surf world with an innovative format that focuses on creativity. It’s a format that focuses on fun and is just what the athletes need. Designed in collaboration with Swatch Proteam athlete and surf legend Coco Ho, it promises to be an amazing playground that will also incorporate skateboarding.

With some of the most epic, challenging, and exhilarating courses out there, every Swatch Nines event is a place where freedom, artistry and camaraderie meet, promising memorable moments and extraordinary experiences. When it comes to sport, Swatch is all in and we’re all set for the Swatch Nines series in 2024.
