Making waves at Swatch Nines Surf 2025
That's a wrap for the second event in the epic Swatch Nines 2025 series! Swatch Nines Surf 2025 made waves from 23 to 25 June at Waco Surf in Texas, one of the largest inland surfing and water sports facilities in the US. With a dynamic new setup and top A-listers from both the surf and skate worlds, the event brought a fresh energy to the scene.

A stacked lineup of global heavy hitters, with legends and rising stars from the worlds of surfing, skateboarding and BMX showed up to push the boundaries of their respective sports.
Event highlights
Hughie Vaughan (AUS) – Stalefish Backflip
Even Tony Hawk chimed in on this first ever landed trick being widely called the best air in surfing…yet. The 18-year-old’s Stalefish Backflip clip is circling the globe.
Noah Beschen (US) – Rail slide to fakie
Noah brought style and precision to the new rail setup, greasing a clean ride out fakie and adding a silky revert that had the entire beach and Rooftop Line cheering.
Matt Meola (US) – Backflip on First Try Using the Motowinch
The Maui innovator showed up and immediately broke boundaries, throwing a flawless backflip off the face of a winch-driven wave.
Rooftop Line + Wallride Madness
Skaters and BMXers including Greyson Fletcher, Andy Anderson, Clay Kreiner, Kevin Peraza and Chase Hawk turned the pump house rooftop into a launch zone, with riders linking rooftop airs into massive wallrides and, more often than not, launching straight into the pool below.

Featuring one of the most creative and playful custom-built setups to date, including a massive Big Air Jump and innovative features like mirrors and precision-engineered rails, Swatch Nines Snow 2025, drove athletes to push the boundaries of creative freedom and innovation.
A celebration of progress and creativity
Under perfect weather conditions and with the pristine Swiss Alpine backdrop adding to the spectacle, the world’s best threw down some jaw-dropping tricks, demonstrating their unmatched creativity and skill in the snow. True to its inclusive spirit, Swatch Nines 2025 embraced creativity from action sports athletes of all kinds including BMX and MTB adding to the exciting atmosphere.

Over 50 world-class champions and rising stars gathered on the slopes at Schilthorn Piz Gloria, displaying exceptional skill, style, and groundbreaking creativity throughout the week-long non-competitive sessions.

This inspiring showcase of talent, follows a sensational season that saw Mia securing the overall Snowboard Park & Pipe title with 500 World Cup points, delivering seven podium finishes—including victories in Beijing, Klagenfurt, and Laax—and showcasing her exceptional skill across both Big Air and Slopestyle disciplines.
