Job description

As our new E-Commerce & Digital Manager BeNeLux, you join the Swatch & Flik Flak BeNeLux team. Your role is to optimize sales through e-commerce and oversee the implementation, development and adaptation of the digital campaigns and activations while adding the BeNeLux touch.You are always on the lookout for local business opportunities to increase revenues and brand exposure, while exploring new ways to attract new consumer segments. You follow Swatch HQ guidelines in implementing the above.

Your responsibilities:

  • E-commerce
    • Responsible for the BeLux & Netherland webshop meaning managing two eshops in Dutch and French: nl_be and fr_be;
    • Managing eshop with Salesforce and guidelines from HQ;
    • Merchandising updates (staging) for each new Swatch and Flik Flak launch: focus on copywriting
    • Create and manage own local activations with HQ: National Belgian Day
    • Project management for special launches with local follow-up;
    • Close contact with HQ for new ideas regarding usability, designs, new payment- and delivery methods;
    • Control orders in Calleo: perform manual follow-up and checks on pending orders and release orders based on security criteria;
    • Develop automated processes with HQ;
    • Manage returns: inform customer with return procedure, follow-up with logistic department and control of returns;
    • Close contact with different departments for eshop sales: IT, logistics, finance and customer service;
    • Create monthly reports with the sales stats and figures including an overview of social media campaigns, bestsellers per collection for Swatch and Flik Flak, etc.;
    • Extra reports when needed for specific launches;
  • Customer contact and support
    • Management of all questions related to e-commerce by e-mail and telephone with CRM Salesforce;
    • Pre-sales, transactional and post-sales support to customer;
    • Direct specific questions to the relevant departments;
    • Follow-up of projects related to customers;
    • Close contact with transporters to help customers with the delivery of their order;
    • Back-up for the Netherlands when needed.

 

  • Digital Marketing
    • Discuss budget for online Swatch campaigns in Benelux
    • Analyse reports from HQ of the digital campaigns to make future campaigns even better
    • Create newsletters in Dutch and French with Emarsys based on the guidelines from HQ
    • Manage Belgian & Dutch local organic Facebook page
    • Monthly dealermailing for all Swatch dealers in Benelux: create own template, visuals and copywriting for each new launch
    • Provide and prepare specific content files for dealers including images, product descriptions, price etc…
    • Follow-up and control of internal and external websites according the Swatch and Flik Flak strategy

 

  • Sales (backup)
    • Help team with all questions related to sales by e-mail and telephone
    • Work together with account manager to create orders in SAP, search for availabilities, follow-up of back orders and push orders if needed
    • Allocate watches to orders when needed

Your mission

You will support the Store Manager in several tasks such as coaching, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve sales targets. As the brand's first ambassador, you will embody the Swatch/Flik-Flak values and guarantee the highest standards of welcome and customer experience.

Your responsibilities:

Sales :

  • Advice on and sale of products presented in the shop
  • Interest in different brands and products
  • Quality of welcome, service and merchandise presentation
  • Customer acquisition and loyalty
  • Appearance of shop and products displayed (windows, counters and furniture)
  • Assisting other sales staff during sales (service, gift-wrapping, etc.)
  • Contribute to the achievement of shop objectives
  • Achievement of personal objectives (defined by Store Manager) and contribution to shop objectives

Replacing the Store Manager :

Administrative tasks, in the Store Manager's absence or at his request:

  • Customer orders
  • Control of deliveries
  • Make sure there is enough material (bags, gift boxes, batteries, etc.)
  • Communication with head office (parameter, E-Mail, telephone if there are special customer requests after agreement or if requested by the Store Manager)

Manage the team in the Store Manager's absence or at his request:

  • Integrate and train each new employee in the field
  • Transmit to the team a passion for brand development, customer service and respect for Swatch values.
  • Support staff in acquiring skills and reflexes in the field (selling skills, products, visual merchandising)
  • Organize all shop tasks to optimize customer service
  • Assist the manager in his or her mission to develop sales, supervise the team and run the shop.
  • Lead individual time
  • Listen to each member of staff (their confirmed successes and difficulties encountered) to develop individual and mutual confidence.

Collaboration with the Store Manager:

  • Transfer important information to Store Manager regarding daily business
  • Keep Store Manager informed about employees
  • Manage the store according to Store Manager directives
  • Open communication with the Store Manager
  • Carry out any other tasks requested by the Store Managerr, such as: inventory, restocking, new product information, monitoring attendance schedules, various administrative tasks, etc.

Other tasks:

  • Participation in events and training sessions
  • Active participation in team meetings
  • Cleaning and tidying the Store
  • Compliance with rules and regulations (Dresscode, etc.)

Reporting process:

N + 1: Store Manager

N + 2: Brand Manager

Job type : Full time, permanent contract
