Swatch's proud partnership with Into Film
Fueled by our shared passion for creativity, we’re proud to partner with Into Film, the UK’s premier film education charity. As one of the main supporters of the exciting Every Child a Filmmaker initiative and the Into Film Awards, we are committed to empowering and fostering creative talent across all generations.
Every Child a Filmmaker
Every Child a Filmmaker is all about empowering children to bring their ideas to life through the magic of film.
Designed and delivered by film professionals, the program offers kids and teens aged 5 to 19—especially those in underrepresented or disadvantaged communities—the chance to tell their own stories through film and develop digital and transferable skills.
Time to Inspire storyboard competition 2025
As part of the Every Child a Filmmaker initiative, Into Film and Swatch launched the Time to Inspire Storyboard Competition. Sponsored by Swatch, this competition aims to engage and help young people aged 13-19 to develop their creative skills by designing a storyboard on a topic that inspires them. Shortlisted entries participate in expert-led filmmaking workshops and the winning film is made with the help of professional filmmakers and screened at the Into Film Spring Screenings 2026.
Street Meets Soil: Winner of Time To Inspire Storyboard Competition 2025
Created by four students from Wellington School, "Street Meets Soil" follows Peter, an elderly man learning to navigate life after the loss of his wife, as the garden they once tended together becomes both a weight and a lifeline. When a group of teenagers unexpectedly step in to help, the film unfolds into a gentle, uplifting portrait of intergenerational connection and quiet acts of kindness.
After its March 11 premiere, the film will be shown in cinemas across the UK as part of Into Film’s Spring Screenings and featured on the Into Film YouTube Shorts channel and Into Film+, allowing schools and young audiences to enjoy it for years to come.
