TERMS AND CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS ACTIVATION.

  1. 1. These terms and conditions (“the Rules”) govern the “Swatch Nines Ride out” (“the Activation”) administered by Swatch Group Österreich GmbH, domiciled at Donau-City-Strasse 11, 1220 Wien/Austria (“Swatch”, “us”, “our”, “we”).
  2. 2. By participating in this Activation, you agree to these Rules and to abide by them. You confirm to have read, understood and agreed to our Privacy Notice. Our Privacy Notice is available at https://www.swatch.com/en-en/legal/swatch-legal-privacy-policy.html
  3. 3. The Activation is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram. You hereby release Instagram, to the greatest extent legally permissible, from any liability in connection with the Activation. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Activation should be directed to us and not to any third-party platforms.
    1. 3.1 Participation is open to Followers of the Instagram page SWATCH AUSTRIA having their domicile in Austria and aged 18 or over at the start of the Activation, with the exception of our employees and their families, as well as of our affiliates, agents and anyone else involved in the Activation.
  4. 4. Each participant may participate only once. Automated entries are not allowed.
  5. 5. To participate:
    1. 5.1. Access the Instagram page of Swatch_Austria
    2. 5.2. Answer the question of the Swatch Nines competition post in our comments & tag your friend/attendance.
    3. 5.3. Follow our Instagram page: Swatch_Austria
  6. 6. The Activation runs from 10:00 CEST August 24th 2025, through to 12:00 CEST August 31st 2025.
  7. 7. The 2 (two) winners are selected among the participations who correctly answered on the quiz question.
  8. 8. The 2 (two) winners will receive the following price:
    1. • Exclusive Ride Out with Casey Brown (Sun, Sept 14, 2025
    2. • Workshop at the Swatch Nines setup (Sun, Sept 14, 2025)
    3. • 2-day MTB ticket for 2 people
    4. • Festival tickets for 2 people
    5. • Swatch Goodie for 2 people
  9. 9. The winners will be notified via email or phone within 3 days after the selection.
  10. 10. We will not bear any travel expenses related to the Event. Each participant will be responsible for his/her own transfer to the Event.
  11. 11. To participate to the Event the winners should bring their own mountainbike & equipment including helmet. Both can be rented also on site on your own costs.
  12. 12. Even if you follow these Rules and instructions correctly, occasionally, circumstances beyond our reasonable control might make it difficult or impossible for us to guarantee your successful participation.
  13. 13. The provision of any invalid, incorrect, or misleading personal information may, in our sole discretion, lead to disqualification from the Activation and/or receipt of a prize.
  14. 14. Incomplete, late, or otherwise faulty entries will not be accepted.
  15. 15. If a winner cannot be reached or does not reply within 2 days of the prize notification, the right to redeem will be assumed to have been forfeited and will be awarded to another participant eligible to win.
  16. 16. We reserve the right to select an alternative applicant if we reasonably believe that a winner has breached the Rules.
  17. 17. To claim your prize you will be required to provide your personal details (first and last name, home address, etc.) and may be required, to the extent permitted by law, prove your identity by submitting relevant documents (e.g. ID, driving license). In the event of a dispute as to a person’s identity, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the holder of the email address associated with it.
  18. 18. The right to redeem the prize may not be transferred to anyone else. No cash alternatives or alternative prizes are available. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to substitute the prize with an item of equal value.
  19. 19. Any taxes that may be levied on the winner shall be exclusively borne by the winner.
  20. 20. We and our affiliates disclaim all liability, to the greatest extent legally permissible, for any damage suffered by anyone as a result of or in connection with the Activation.
  21. 21. We reserve the right to amend the Rules and to modify, suspend, or terminate the Activation in case it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired.
  22. 22. The Activation is void where it is legally not permitted.
  23. 23. We reserve the right to cancel or delay the contest as well as the prize award due to Force majeure, following which we are hold safe from all and any liability for nonperformance. Force majeure is any radical, external event that goes beyond the will and control of either parties and without any fault of either party, by way of example but in no way exhaustive: natural disasters, outbreaks of war, riots, revolts, insurrections, strikes as well epidemics and pandemics.
  24. 24. Any decisions by us regarding the Activation are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  25. 25. The Rules are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to any conflict-of-law rules. In the event of any disputes, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vienna, Austria.
